This smart receptacle collects, grinds, and prepares single-use plastic cups for efficient recycling.
By integrating advanced sensors, a built-in grinder, and a streamlined collection system, R3GRND ensures that plastic cups are diverted from landfills and transformed into reusable raw materials for new products, including cups.

Customers deposit empty plastic cups into the receptacle, which verifies and accepts them into the machine.
Computer Vision and Machine learning with Ai, power the priority vision system. Trained to identity and collect single stream materials, like PP and PET cups and bottles.

Cups are ground into flake inside of the machine.
Collect 10x more volume of ground “flake” vs loose cups.
Ensures only plastic cups are collected, single material removes friction for recycler.
Precision blades made from hardened steel ensure long life and corrosion resistance in all scenarios .

Flakes are stored bins onsite unit and picked up bi weekly. Picks then transport to a central hub for consolidation.
PLA collection bags are provided, and out pickup service ensures the material makes it way to the right place.

Flakes are washed and pelletized into high-quality raw material suitable for manufacturing new products, such as cups, packaging, or other plastic goods.

The machine accepts empty cups into the device. The cups are ground and stored in bags.
